We aim to ensure that every communities’ story is heard, shared, and valued through the preservation and interpretation of memory, race, and ethnicity. One such way we are taking action against the systemic racism is through the development of our podcast, Urban Roots, which explores urban history through storytelling.
We are an organization of anti-racist, community-minded professionals with the overarching goal of connecting people and place through history and planning. We work to expand the breadth of civic engagement through a multi-disciplinary approach so that development just doesn't happen to communities without their input and involvement.
